The meeting will start at 6:00 with registration, raffle sales, and cocktails. Then we’ll move into the dining area and your host for the evening, Gina Pfshering will give us some highlights of Red Rock Country Club and then dinner will begin.

PROGRAM:
Round Table Discussions Regarding Wedding Industry Issues. We will Mix you Up with Your Fellow Professionals for Round Table Discussions on issues that matter to you! Each table will have 2 or 3 topics provided. Each table should elect a speaker to represent that table and a secretary to take notes.
Some of the topics planned for the evening are listed below. We’ll give you some more information and then let you discuss the issue at your table. It’ll be interesting to see the differences in the tables and it will surely be educational and fun at the same time.
Vendor 2 Vendor Relations | Who’s clock do we sync to? | TV Shows helpful or not? | Share your tip on technology | Pricing your product
Out of control guests | Who’s your boss; the money or the bride? | When The Honeymoon is over | Should your prices be flexible?

Conclusion- Debbie and Andy will briefly review the topics discussed and then it’s on the the raffle prizes!

Las Vegas Wedding Network meeting at Cili Restaurant
Last night we had yet another awesome Las Vegas Wedding Network meeting. This time the venue was Cili Restaurant and Bar at Bali Hai golf course. When I entered the room it was packed full of friendly faces, new faces and an overall feeling of excitement.
Our meetings are growing tremendously and I’m so pleased to see that it’s working for the Las Vegas Wedding community. From friends I see on a regular basis like Kim Sakren from A Perfect Wedding Dance (as usual wearing one of her fashionable hats) to another friend I haven’t seen in about 7 years (Jack Vosburg of JCS Video) I was thrilled to see the gathering of wedding professionals, many of them competitors, all in one room having a great time, networking and enjoying the always delicious and well presented hors d’ oeuvres from Cili.
Thank you Kathy Dyke of Cili! This woman is just great. Cili has been an advertiser on my site; VegasVows.com for almost 10 years now, and doing business with her has always been a pleasure and a first class operation. Kathy gets it when it comes to marketing. With over 80 people in the wedding business she took the opportunity to showcase Cili and looked at it like a great opportunity to promote Cili to people who matter. Even with Facebook, Twitter, blogs and all the other stuff that’s out there, word of mouth is still the best and I’m sure over 80 people walked away with good words in there mouth, great food in their tummy and happy thoughts in their head.
Andy Ebon’s “anti-social media presentation” proves my point. It’s not about how many friends and colleagues you have on Facebook, etc. it’s about the quality of those friends and colleagues. Andy is well known for his wedding marketing expertise and is a co-founder of the Las Vegas Wedding Network.
A very special thank you needs to go to my other co-founder Debbie Hansen for donating 2 entries to the Wedding MBA as raffle prizes. What an incredible thing to win; admission and entry to all the exhibits and seminars scheduled for the upcoming convention right here in Las Vegas, NV.
